How to set up two-factor authentication on your SendPulse account

To make your SendPulse account more secure, you can set up two-factor authentication. Third-party users will not be able to get into your account even if they know the password and login. You can log in only after entering a code received via SMS or Google Authenticator.

Enable two-factor authentication

Go to your account settings.

In the Security tab, turn on the Two-factor authentication toggle.

Choose if you want to receive your login confirmation code via Google Authenticator or SMS.

Via Google Authenticator

Install the Google Authenticator app to sign in to your account.

Select the Google Authenticator option, and click Get code.

Enter your current account password, and click Confirm.

Once you have confirmed your password, an authorization window with a QR code will open. You can scan the code via Google Authenticator or create an account manually.

Open the app, and click Scan a QR code to scan the code. Point your camera at the QR code — a six-digit verification code will be generated automatically.

Enter the code, and click Activate.

You can also enable two-factor authentication on an iPhone without having to install a separate application. To do this, go to Settings > Passwords, and click +. Add the sendpulse.com site, and enter your username and password. Then, click Set Verification Code > Scan QR Code.

Scan the QR code in your SendPulse account. A six-digit code will appear on your mobile device. Enter it in the corresponding form field.

Click OK to log out of all other devices, and confirm the action in your SendPulse account.

Via SMS

Available with the Standard plan and above, as well as during the 7-day free trial

Make sure your phone number is verified in the general settings. If it is not verified, go to the General tab > the Mob. Phone field, and click Request a new phone verification code. Enter the received code in the corresponding field.

Select the via SMS option, and click Connect.

Enter your account password.

Click OK to log out of all other devices, and confirm the action in your SendPulse account.

Click Save.

Now, once you have entered your login and password, you will receive a message with a code to your phone number. Enter it in your SendPulse account.
