Integrate DeepSeek with SendPulse tools

DeepSeek is a large-scale language model designed to support AI solutions in over 100 languages. This model can generate, edit, and translate text, analyze and categorize data, help develop marketing campaigns, and more.

You can configure DeepSeek to handle specific business needs. Choose a model and create a prompt that will set your tone of voice, outline the scope of responses, add context, and adjust the AI’s behavior.

In this article, we'll talk about how to integrate with DeepSeek and use it in your SendPulse-powered chatbots and automated campaigns.

Create an account

Go to the DeepSeek Platform and create an account. Click Sign Up and enter your email address. Click Continue or continue with your Google account.

DeepSeek is not available in South Korea, Taiwan, and Australia.

To view your token balance, go to Usage in the DeepSeek Platform. Here, you'll see your current balance and spending history.

Generate an API key

In the DeepSeek Platform, go to API Keys on the left sidebar and click Create new API key.

In the modal window, name your key. Click Create new API key and copy the generated key.

Make sure to save this key on your device. Once you log out, you won’t be able to copy it again. If you misplace it, you’ll have to generate a new key.

Paste the API key in SendPulse

When you add a model to your account settings, it becomes available in the Websites, Pop-ups, and Chatbots sections. To use another account just for your chatbot, add it in Integrations and the AI Step element.

Go to your account settings > API. In DeepSeek, click Add token.

Paste your key and click Save.

Once you add your account, you can start using DeepSeek to generate text in your chatbot responses.
