How to add social media buttons to email templates
With the SendPulse email service, you can add social media buttons to your email templates. This allows your audience to explore and interact with your brand using their preferred social media platforms.
Let's talk about how to add and customize social media buttons.
Add a social media button
Go to Email > Email Templates. Select an email template, and click Edit. You can also create a new template by clicking Add template.

In the template builder, drag and drop the Social widget, or locate the existing element in your template.
Click Add button.
Select a social media platform
Select a social media platform from the dropdown menu.
The following social media buttons are currently available:
- X (Twitter)
- Facebook Messenger
Add your social media links
Enter the full URL or ID of your page. You can also select the following link types:
|Add a link to a profile or a group.
|Share this email via a social network.
|Share a link via a social network.
You can include a link to your Telegram profile
https://t.me/username or share links to a group chat, channel, post, or someone else's profile.
If you want to add a link to your Instagram profile, you can paste it in the
https://www.instagram.com/username format or share links to specific posts by copying them from the three dots menu.
Viber allows you to include a link to your group
https://invite.viber.com/id or share it by clicking your group name and selecting Add Participants via Link.
You can add a link to your X (Twitter) profile
https://x.com/username or share links to individual tweets by selecting Copy link to Tweet from the tweet's Share icon.
Customize your buttons
Select your preferred icon style, and adjust the size to your liking. Choose whether to display icons only, icons and text, or text only.
Select a horizontal or vertical orientation, and align your element to the left, center, or right. You can also set a background color, inner padding, height, rounding, and contour.
You can also hide this element on mobile devices by turning on the corresponding toggle.
Once you turn on the toggle, a crossed-out mobile icon will appear in the editor, indicating that this element is not visible to mobile users.
