How to Configure DKIM for SendPulse SMTP
DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) technology enables businesses to certify an e-mail message. Technically speaking, this is a way to confirm the sender's domain with a cryptographic signature.
You can learn more about DKIM on Wikipedia.
Does DKIM improve email delivery?
This depends on the servers that check message validation. If a message is signed using a DKIM signature, the recipient can use available data about the company that signed the message to determine the appropriate action to take concerning that particular email. If the signer has a good reputation, their messages will be subjected to less rigorous filtering.
Step 1. Add the Domain
Go to SMTP settings — Tracking and sending domains.
If you have not yet added the domain from which you will send emails, add your address with this domain. For the first time, you need to fill out a user profile.
If you have sent the form earlier, you can add a new sender email address with the button "Add a "FROM" email address."
A confirmation email will be sent to the email address specified as the sender's address. Follow the link in the email and continue setting up the DKIM record.
After adding the domain, press the button "Create DKIM key."
Step 2. Click the "Generate" button.
Step 3. Save the generated private key.
The DKIM status of the sender email address will change to "On."
Go to the DNS management section in your hosting or domain registrar panel and create a TXT record about the public key.
Example record:
v=DKIM1; k=rsa; p=MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQDNIutZoZRz+wN2vLhRs5sm+26MsPrr3/m7X7Rm0rjMfPqFO2qi7CqUe0EXouL1Fe4HWxXff7c777a

Record name: smtpsign._domainkey
Record type: TXT
It takes a few hours to verify the records in the hosting. To view information about DKIM record of your domain, click "Check DKIM" in the "View your DKIM key" drop-down menu.
If you set up your DKIM record correctly, you can start creating an email campaign.
